Fermented Juice Recipe

This naturally fermented beverage is a delight on warm days. Fermented juices produce their own probiotic fermentation process and this creates a slightly fizzy juice. Try adding it to soda water for extra fun!

  • 1 litre of any juice you choose – freshly squeezed by a cold pressed juicer is optimal
  • bottle juice in a 1.5 litre bottle. You need a larger bottle because natural gas is produced by the fermentation process
  • Leave in a warm place (not in sunlight) for 2 days and then refrigerate
  • You may like to add a probiotic powder or kefir water to assist with the fermentation process
