Springtime Juice

Basil is a powerful inflammation reducing herb which is often underutilises in the juicing world. Its flavour is pungent and creates a deep earthy and peppery flavour to the juice. Basil also helps protect the brain, liver and heart from free radical damage.
* 2 apples, cores removed
* ½ cucumber
* 2 celery ribs
* 5 basil leaves
* 1 cup almond milk
* Optional: 1 Tbsp nuts, seeds, superfoods and/or plant powders
* blend all ingredients, can also add some ice for a fresher cool juice
