Turmeric Latte Recipe

A great alternative to coffee to give you the warm hit many of us crave in the morning. A spicy and delicious beverage helps to kick start digestion while providing anti-inflammatory effects to your diet.  If you make excess, put it in the fridge and drink it cold, use it in a smoothie or flavour cakes, biscuits or sweets with it also!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups nut or oat milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp of ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • ground black pepper
  • honey or maple syrup to sweeten

DIRECTIONS

  • put all the ingredients in a saucepan and whisk constantly over a gentle heat, ideally with a milk frother if you have one. Once hot, pour into mugs and sprinkle with a little more cinnamon to serve.
